The new Part VIA of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance 2012 will come into operation on 1 April 2013. The newly added part of the above regulations stipulates that the company must obtain the consent of the person who provided the information before using his personal information for direct marketing activities. 2. The Company collects your personal data for the following purposes:

( i ) provide you with the most suitable treatment and product recommendations;

(xi) The latest news on marketing reward schemes, birthday offers, free product trial digital campaigns, roadshows/street promotions, in-store promotions;

(xii) to notify you about joint promotions or events with shopping malls, department stores, credit cards, banks, trades, celebrities, magazines, television, websites, cultural, artistic or musical groups/organizations, charities or non-profit organisations;

(xiii) In order to protect the privacy of your personal data, the company ensures that the policies and practices in the collection, use, retention, transfer and inspection of personal data are in compliance with the “Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance” Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong Provisions.

 

3. Retention of personal data

In order to protect the rights and interests of customers and the company, all personal data related to the sale, use and promotion of beauty-related products and services will be held and destroyed in accordance with internal policies. If the personal data held can assist in the investigation, detection of crimes and prosecution of suspects, the company will also retain the personal data for as long as the relevant data is required.

• Great Power member companies ;
• banks or financial institutions, payment or credit card issuers;

5. Collection method

Before trying/purchasing our company’s treatments or products, the company may ask you to show the original Hong Kong identity card and record your identity card number. If you do not wish to present the original ID card, the company reserves the right to provide you with any services or products. Under section 7AA of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, it is an offense for any person to transfer an identity card to another person without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.

 

6. Collection of personally identifiable information

From time to time, you may be required to provide personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, gender, age, identity document number, date of birth, telephone number, fax number, address, email address, credit card information, education level , occupation, family income, interests, preferences for certain products and services, channels through which you learned about the company and its brands, all records of your contact with the company, your purchase and consumption records of beauty products and care products under the company, Your orientation towards receiving information from our company (including promotional offers and events) and leisure activities, etc. If you refuse to provide the relevant information , the company may not be able to provide you with appropriate services .

8. Access to personal data

However , if you do access your personal data for the purpose of making a reasonable correction , the company may, at its discretion, waive the fee.

 

9. Correction of personal data

You must notify the company of the change of personal information by email and provide the correct information to be corrected. The company will correct your personal data within 30 days after receiving your request in accordance with Article 23 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance . Correction of personal data will not be charged.

10. Security of personal data

The personal data you provide to the company will be properly stored in the company’s customer service system, and only authorized personnel can view it.

1 4. Terms of Delivery, Returns and Refunds

( i )    We will arrange delivery within 5 working days after payment is confirmed.

(ii)    We will inspect the goods before delivery to make sure that the goods are not damaged.
